Getting around Nice by tram
The simplest, most affordable, and often the fastest way to reach Carré d’Or.
Airport (Terminal 1 and Terminal 2)
Line 2 runs directly from the airport to the city centre (Jean Médecin stop) in under 30 minutes flat.
On weekdays, expect a tram roughly every 8 minutes, and even every 7 minutes in the Airport ➔ Jean Médecin direction.
Please note, service does not run on 1 May!
Nice-Ville station (Gare Thiers)
Take line 1 at the Gare Thiers stop and get off at Jean Médecin.
The tram stop is about 200 metres from the station, and our apartments are then just 150 metres from the Jean Médecin stop. Trams run roughly every 5 to 10 minutes.
