
Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs)
Article 1: Booking
Les Appartements Carré d’Or – Nice Centre are operated by LIBERTY RENTALS SARL. All bookings are subject to availability and become final once confirmed by LIBERTY RENTALS SARL.
Bookings made at the non-refundable rate are payable in full at the time the booking is confirmed.
Bookings made at the refundable rate are payable no later than 30 days before the arrival date. From that point onwards, they become non-refundable, in accordance with the terms of the selected rate.
Payment for bookings is made using the payment methods offered on the website at the time of booking.
A booking confirmation is sent to the client once the booking has been validated.
In accordance with applicable regulations, each traveller may be required to present a valid official form of identification before arrival.
The client confirms that they hold civil liability insurance covering any damage that may be caused during their stay.
Article 2: Modification, Cancellation, No-show, Early Departure and Commitment
The applicable modification or cancellation terms are those selected by the client at the time of booking and stated in their confirmation.
In the event of a no-show or early departure, no refund will be granted, unless otherwise provided for under the terms of the booked rate.
Any request to extend the stay is subject to apartment availability and the rates in effect at the time of the request.
Article 3: Tourist Tax
The tourist tax is collected in accordance with applicable regulations and the rate set by the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur. Its amount is calculated according to the applicable legal provisions and is shown to the client before the booking is validated.
Article 4: Cleaning Fee
A cleaning fee is charged for each stay. Its amount varies depending on the type of apartment. It is shown to the client before the booking is validated and is payable at the time of booking.
Article 5: Arrival – Access to the Apartments
Before arrival, the client receives the key box codes as well as all the information needed for a self check-in. No in-person check-in or luggage storage service is provided.
The apartment is available from 2:30 PM, unless otherwise agreed in advance with LIBERTY RENTALS SARL. It must be vacated by 10:00 AM at the latest on the day of departure.
Only the persons named at the time of booking are authorised to stay in the apartment, unless otherwise agreed in advance with LIBERTY RENTALS SARL. The maximum number of occupants stated for each apartment may under no circumstances be exceeded.
The client is asked to ensure that the apartment door is properly closed when leaving the premises.
Pets are only allowed with the prior agreement of LIBERTY RENTALS SARL.

Article 6: Cleaning and Maintenance
For the safety of both you and our staff, no intervention will take place in the apartment during your stay, except at the client’s request or when an intervention is necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the facilities or the safety of the premises. Each apartment is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before your arrival.
Bed linen and towels are provided on arrival. For stays of more than one week, a weekly change of bed linen and towels is included.
Soap, shampoo, washing-up liquid and toilet paper are provided on arrival in sufficient quantity for the start of your stay. These welcome supplies are not replenished during the stay.
Before leaving, the client is required to leave the kitchen and the apartment in a reasonably clean condition. Dishes must be washed and put away, and rubbish taken to the designated bin area. Failure to comply with these obligations may result in a flat fee of €50 being charged.
Pets must not be left alone in the apartments.
Article 7: Respect for Other Guests’ Rest – Living Together
In order to preserve the peace and quiet of all occupants of the property and the neighbourhood, the client agrees to behave respectfully throughout their stay.
The apartments are made available to the client in good condition and must be used peacefully. Any disturbance, noisy or disruptive behaviour, whether during the day or at night, is prohibited. Particular care is required between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM, during which time silence must be strictly observed.
In the event of noise disturbance, inappropriate behaviour or failure to comply with these rules, LIBERTY RENTALS SARL reserves the right to end the stay without compensation or refund, subject to applicable legal provisions.
Children and pets remain the sole responsibility of the client throughout the entire stay.
Article 8: No Smoking
Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited inside the apartments as well as in the common areas of the property.
Failure to comply with this ban may result in a flat fee of €68 being charged to cover the deodorising and restoration work required. In the event of more significant damage, additional costs may be claimed on presentation of the relevant supporting documents.
The client also remains liable for the consequences of any failure to comply with applicable legal and regulatory provisions.
Article 9: Damage
The client is required to use the premises, furniture, fittings and items made available to them with care and in accordance with their intended purpose.
Any damage, deterioration, loss or theft noted during the stay that is attributable to the client or the persons accompanying them shall be their responsibility. LIBERTY RENTALS SARL reserves the right to charge the client for the cost of repairing, replacing or restoring the items concerned, as well as any loss directly suffered as a result of such damage.
If damage or breaches are identified after the client’s departure, LIBERTY RENTALS SARL will send the client a payment request together with the relevant supporting documents. Failing an amicable settlement, it reserves the right to take any action necessary to recover the sums owed.
Article 10: Complaints
The apartments are prepared with the utmost care and checked before each arrival to ensure their good condition, cleanliness and the proper functioning of the facilities.
The client must report any anomaly, damage or non-conformity as soon as possible, and no later than 24 hours after arrival. Any complaint arising during the stay must be brought to the attention of LIBERTY RENTALS SARL as soon as it is identified, to allow for prompt action.
No compensation claim will be considered if the client has not allowed LIBERTY RENTALS SARL to resolve the issue during the stay.
LIBERTY RENTALS SARL undertakes to review any complaint in good faith and, where justified, to propose an appropriate solution.
Article 11: Lost Property
LIBERTY RENTALS SARL cannot be held responsible for the loss, theft or forgetting of personal items in the apartments, the common areas of the property or the parking areas.
Found items will be kept for a period of 3 months from the client’s departure date. At the client’s request, they may be shipped to the address provided, subject to prior payment of shipping costs and, where applicable, handling fees.
Once this period has expired, and in the absence of any claim, LIBERTY RENTALS SARL may freely dispose of unclaimed items.
Article 12: Departure
On the day of departure, the client must vacate the apartment no later than the time specified in the booking terms. Before leaving the premises, they must ensure that the apartment is locked and return the key(s) to the letterbox provided for this purpose, in accordance with the departure instructions they have been given.
Article 13: Acceptance of these Terms
Any booking and any stay at Appartements Carré d’Or – Nice Centre implies unreserved acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale as well as the property’s house rules, operated by LIBERTY RENTALS SARL.
In the event of non-compliance with these provisions, LIBERTY RENTALS SARL reserves the right to take any appropriate action, up to and including termination of the stay contract, without prejudice to LIBERTY RENTALS SARL’s right to claim compensation for any loss suffered, where circumstances justify it.
