The Site collects personal data in the following cases:

Contact form. When you use the Site’s contact form, the following data is collected: name, email address and message content. This data is used solely to respond to your request.

Booking via the Eviivo platform. The Site does not have an integrated booking system: any booking request redirects to the external platform Eviivo (via.eviivo.com), which directly processes the data required for the booking (identity, contact details, payment information). Liberty Rentals SARL does not have access to this data at the time it is entered on Eviivo; please refer to Eviivo’s own privacy policy for this step.

Managing your stay and access to the accommodation. Once a booking has been confirmed via Eviivo, Liberty Rentals SARL receives your contact details (name, address, email, phone number) in order to contact you directly (by email, SMS or phone) to organise the practical arrangements for your stay: arrival instructions, apartment access code (key box), departure information, and answers to any questions relating to your stay. This processing, although following a booking made on a third-party platform, is carried out directly by Liberty Rentals SARL as data controller.

The processing described above is based on:

• the performance of pre-contractual measures or of the seasonal rental agreement (managing the stay, responding to booking requests);
• the legitimate interest of Liberty Rentals SARL in responding to contact requests and ensuring the proper execution of the stay;
• where applicable, your consent, when it is required (for example, for sending communications not strictly necessary for the performance of the contract).

The data collected is intended for the Liberty Rentals SARL team in charge of managing bookings and welcoming guests.

It may also be shared with:

• the accountant of Liberty Rentals SARL, the only external service provider with access to it, strictly for bookkeeping purposes and to comply with tax obligations;
• Eviivo, the booking platform, for booking management;
• o2switch, the Site’s host, strictly for the technical hosting of data;
• any administrative or judicial authority, upon request and under the conditions provided for by law.

Liberty Rentals SARL does not sell or rent your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes. No newsletter or promotional email is sent to customers.

Eviivo is a company incorporated under the laws of the United Kingdom. Data transfers to the United Kingdom are governed by the European Commission’s adequacy decision of 28 June 2021, renewed on 19 December 2025 and valid until 27 December 2031. This decision recognises that the United Kingdom ensures an adequate level of protection for personal data under European Union law: no additional contractual safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) are therefore currently required for these transfers.

Personal data linked to an actual booking (name, address, email, phone number) is kept for 10 years, in accordance with the retention period required by the accounting and tax obligations applicable to documents evidencing commercial services (invoices, booking records).

Data arising solely from the contact form, when it does not lead to a booking, is kept for a maximum of 3 years from the last exchange.

Liberty Rentals SARL does not send any commercial communications or newsletters to former customers; no retention period for commercial prospecting purposes therefore applies.

The Site uses Matomo, a self-hosted audience measurement tool (no data passes through any third-party server), configured to minimise the data collected, including:

• anonymisation of visitors’ IP addresses (masking of at least 2 bytes);
• no user identifier;
• no third-party cookies;
• disabling of detailed per-visitor tracking (visit log);
• anonymisation of referrers and campaign parameters;
• disabling of device model and screen resolution detection;
• data retention period limited to 180 days.

These Matomo audience measurement cookies are only placed with your prior consent, collected via the banner shown on your first visit to the Site. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking this link.

The Site does not place any other audience measurement, advertising or social media cookies without your prior consent. Links to Eviivo redirect to an external site that applies its own cookie policy.

Liberty Rentals SARL implements reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure, within the limits of what standard shared hosting (o2switch) allows.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (“loi Informatique et Libertés”), you have the following rights over your personal data:

• right of access;
• right to rectification;
• right to erasure;
• right to restriction of processing;
• right to object;
• right to data portability.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL): www.cnil.fr.
