Welcome
Nice is best explored on foot
Carré d’Or is 150 metres from the tramway, a ten-minute walk from Nice-Ville station, and just steps from the Promenade des Anglais and Vieux-Nice. Good news: most of our guests barely use any transport at all during their stay.
For everything else (arriving from the airport, an excursion along the Côte d’Azur, or simply the comfort of travelling by car), here’s our guide, organised around what you need rather than as a plain list of transport options.
Getting to Nice and getting around
From the airport to our apartments and beyond, you have several options.

Tram — the simplest option
Line 2 connects the airport to the city centre (Jean Médecin stop) in under 30 minutes, with a tram every 7 to 8 minutes.

Taxi
Available 24/7, with announced wait times always honoured. Choose your vehicle online to suit your needs.

Luggage storage
Several luggage storage services are available just a few minutes’ walk from the property.
